About Asher/Blog Dedication

Every life has a measure of sorrow, and sometimes this is what awakens us.

I am a reknown crime novelist and a former law enforcement officer. I have 17 years of professional experience in criminal behavior and activity as well as mental illness. Some of my personal and professional experiences have been collaborated into a fictional format and published in my e-books. [The Descanter]. A passionate leader in philaprophy and social justice, I eagerly seek bridging gaps between religious groups and ethnicities so peace can be obtained as much as possible. (the picture to the left is  a sarcastic take on how I look, not truely a picture of me! However, I do have red, curly hair and am a cat guy)

All of my articles can be found in one convienent place at The Descanter.

I am a happily divorced, single parent of two boys (one is 9 and mildly autistic, has Bipolar, and three other mental illnesses; the other is a rambunctious toddler of 3 years), and I have two overweight cats. God has given me many great friends I love dearly. Despite the wild and zany things I write about here on my blog and in news magazins, I am an ordinary person that has has the unfortunate luck of encountering some bizarre events along the life’s way. I had the best family one could have growing up. My dad is a Vietnam war veteran who is now on Hospice-war related illness (RIP 9/26/2011). My mom and two younger sisters are strongly opinionated and talented women who light the world. Most of what I have learned in life was through my dad and my late uncle, who died in 2006. They were my inspiration in what I wanted to do in life.

My autistic son is a lot like Stewart on Mad TV (he even looks like him):

Dedication

This blog is dedicated to Reagan, Noah, and Alena who would have been 16, 13, and 11 this year (2010).

I love you, I love you, I love you!

I’m still holding my promise, and looking at the same moon as you do.
